James is a qualified ISA sailing instructor and a member of Royal St. George Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire where he is a prominent member of the sailing scene for many years. James says he has been ‘around boats all his life’ and feels his experience allows him identify what is needed by the customer to satisfy their boating requirements. James works to make getting on the water easy for everyone.

Gareth has been boating all his life spending many memorable family holidays cruising Northern Ireland and the west coast of Scotland. He studied marine engineering at Southampton University and graduated as a marine engineer having been sponsored by B P Shipping. His career progressed and he spent many years working on ships before coming shore side to take up a sales post in an automotive components company. Now at BJ Marine Bangor he is at the helm of new boats and brokerage sales. Gareth still enjoys sailing at weekends and longer cruises with his own young crew aboard.

Alfred was born in Malta and graduated in Finance and Marketing. His ancestors were Marine Engineers and Merchant Captains dating back to the 1700s which made him realize that he had the sea in his blood. He was founder member of local sailing clubs and served as Commodore for several years; he is a qualified sailing instructor RYA certified and introduced sailing to youth groups and facilitates sailing to all as a sport and pastime.Having been involved in sailing for the past 30 years Alfred is considered a reference in sailing in Malta. He joined the BJ Marine team a few years ago and is now running the Mediterranean Office which gives him the opportunity to guide clients to experience fully the pleasures of the sea.

Joe was born beside the sea and has lived there all his life. His first experiences of sailing were fishing trips as a young boy. These experiences have given Joe a lifelong passion for all things boating. His career began in sales and now continues at BJ Marine’s Mediterranean office where Joe combines his passion with his profession selling boats and passing on his love of the sea.
