BJ Marine acquires Dickies International Boat Sales and Compass Yachts, dominating the Irish Sea for new and used boat sales.

BJ Marine are now kings of the Irish Sea, dominating the region as the largest new and used boat dealer. In 2015 BJ Marine struck a deal with the long established and hugely successful Dickies International Boat Sales and assumed the dealership for Beneteau sail and power as well as merging their brokerage network to form one of the largest networks of second hand boats for sale in the British Isles. You will find BJ Marine’s north Wales headquarters in what was Dickies boatyard at Pwllheli Marina. Strengthening their position for boat sales spanning the Irish Sea from the west of England across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

In early 2016 BJ Marine acquired Compass Yachts, a yacht broker and new boat sales firm based for many years at Penarth Marina. This gives BJ Marine a strategic location on Cardiff bay to provide boat sales services to clients across England, Wales, the entire island of Ireland and with a long established base in the Mediterranean Sea, accommodate customers across the whole of Europe and also provide boats for Caribbean customers.
